Cooperation between scientists and managers

In year 2013 a meeting and workshop between scientists and site managers from the World Natural Heritage Site High Coast/Kvarken Archipelago was held in Vaasa, Finland.   

The objectives of the meeting was:

  • enhance the cooperation between researchers and site managers
  • get an overview of recent research in the fields of glacial deposits and post-glacial land-uplift as well as their effects on the environment
  • discuss actions in order to get research results available for the public in a readily understandable form
