World Heritage logo

The official name according to UNESCO is High Coast/Kvarken Archipelago. UNESCO'S official World Heritage logo can only be used in official and non-commercial activities and their use is audited by the Kvarken steering committee.

A new logo and new visual guidelines have been created for the Kvarken Archipelago in order to market and visualise the area. The logo symbolises the unique features of the archipelago and lifts up the land uplift, the glo-lakes and fladas, shallow sea bays and erratic blocks. The logo can be used without cost by partners and entrepreneurs. The right to use of the logo is granted by the steering committee. Today almost 100 businesses have the right to use the logo for marketing purposes, as well as the World Heritage municipalities, Metsähallitus and the delegation of the World Heritage of Kvarken Archipelago.
